Located on the banks of the River Clyde in the heart of Glasgow (some 7.6 miles from Glasgow Airport), the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) occupies a superb landscaped site with convenient city transport links. The Congress Scientific registration fee includes lunches on Sunday 23, Monday 24, Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 October. Daily luncheon vouchers are issued to delegates which will enable them to choose from a number of different catering outlets from within the Exhibition Hall offering salads, sandwiches, pasta, noodles and jacket potatoes. Tea and coffee is provided during the programme within the Exhibition Hall at the times shown within the Programme.
The Opening Reception on Sunday 23 October will comprise a drinks and canapes reception hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow and Glasgow City Council. All registered scientific delegates and exhibitors are invited to attend this Reception.
A Poster Reception will take place on Tuesday 25 October providing the opportunity for delegates to review the posters over a drink, whilst the exhibition is closed. Dry snacks will be provided.
The official language of the Congress will be English. There will be no simultaneous interpretation.
The organisers do not accept responsibility for each individual’s medical, travel or personal insurance and participants are advised to take out their own policies.
Any Italian pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress abroad, is subjected to an authorization by AIFA (Italian Drug Agency), according to an Italian Government Decree (Decreto Legislativo 219/06 – art. 124).
The request of authorization must be submitted within 60 days before the starting date of the event. The appointed agency to collect all applications from pharmaceutical companies and file them with the AIFA is:
