EACCME Accreditation

The Congress has been accredited by the EACCME to provide CME activity for medical specialists. A total of 19 credits has been awarded. Each medical specialist should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net. Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Delegates wishing to claim credits will be scanned into and out of the auditoria during the Congress and the information will be held on file and made available to the awarding CME body if requested. Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

As part of the EACCME Application, we are required to supply conflict of interest paperwork to the awarding body and make these available to anyone wishing to have sight of these. Should you wish to view any documents received, please click on the name below
